Request for Proposal: Ambassador Program for Builders Grants Adoption and Outreach

Background

The Derive ecosystem is launching a comprehensive Builders Grants program to foster innovation and adoption across its core grant categories: Technical Integrations, Infrastructure Providers, and Audits. The program seeks to incentivize developers, protocols, and partners to build and integrate with the Derive chain, ultimately driving ecosystem growth.

To maximize the impact of this initiative, we are seeking proposals from qualified individuals or teams to serve as "Ambassadors." The Ambassadors will play a pivotal role in driving user adoption of the Builders Grants program and attracting suitable applicants through targeted outreach.

Budget: 20k OP

Applicants: Multiple (max 10k OP per applicant)

Scope of Work

The selected Ambassador(s) will:

1. Outreach and Community Engagement
   • Identify and engage with developers, projects, and protocols that align with the Builders Grants categories.
   • Conduct targeted outreach campaigns to promote the Builders Grants program to technical integration partners, infrastructure providers, and security audit firms.
   • Actively participate in online and offline community events to raise awareness about the program.
2. Grant Application Facilitation
   • Guide potential applicants through the grant application process, addressing queries and clarifying eligibility criteria.
   • Host webinars, workshops, or AMA sessions to educate the community about the Builders Grants categories and their benefits.
3. Ecosystem Development Support
   • Collaborate with the Derive team to identify high-potential projects that align with the following integration incentives:
     • Trading and analytics tools.
     • OEM systems.
     • Price feed oracles and external data providers.
     • DAO tooling and account abstraction integrations.
     • NFT projects, chain bridges, and interoperability protocols.
     • Deployment of tokenized RWAs, yield-bearing assets, and novel derivative applications.
   • Support projects in scoping their grant proposals to align with program objectives.
4. Performance Reporting
   • Participate in regular weekly syncs with the Derive team to align on goals and provide updates, including metrics on outreach efforts, application submissions, and successful integrations.
   • Document feedback from potential applicants to improve the Builders Grants program continuously.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate(s) will possess:

• Strong knowledge of the blockchain and DeFi ecosystem, including derivatives, technical integrations, and infrastructure development.
• Proven experience in community building, developer outreach, or ecosystem growth.
